Q-Hackathon.2026
Feb 23 - Mar 1 • Online • Competitive Selection
Four Tracks. One Quantum Leap.
The Q-volution is here. From optimizing energy grids with Rigetti, to pricing financial options with Quandela, or simulating oscillators with Classiq, this is your moment to prove your skills.
*Access to quantum hardware is competitive.

Energy Grid Optimization

Mission: Maximize the "Power Energy Section" (MPES) to prevent blackouts using Weighted Max-Cut problems on South Carolina's grid.
Access84-qubit Ankaa-3 access limited to Top 10 teams. Others will use simulators.
Harmonic Oscillator

Mission: Solve Linear Differential Equations using the 2020 Tao Xin algorithm. Simulate kinetic/potential energies of a quantum harmonic oscillator.
FocusCircuit depth analysis & resource efficiency optimization.
Option Pricing

Mission: Implement a Quantum Machine Learning model using MerLin to predict put/call option prices. Train on historical data, test on live sets.
RecommendationML background preferred. Workshop available on MerLin usage.
Quantum for Good
Mission: Design a quantum solution for a social cause. No coding experience required.
Open to AllHigh Schoolers & Beginners encouraged.
